Just How Old Is Our Home? This World.

As a young boy I was always interested in the history of ancient civilizations, the Egyptian's, the Roman Empire and others like the Mayan and Inca. I would sit and marvel at pictures of their cities some still standing as they were built, others in ruins. The quality of the workmanship and engineering that was obviously used in their construction at times left me in wonderment as to how some of their work was achieved, work that we today would not be able to accomplish with our modern building equipment. In the foundation of one Greek temple, I forget just where is a stone supposedly hand hewn that was from a previous civilization that is estimated to be over 200,000 tones in weight, a perfect rectangle. Later in life I marveled at the restored buildings in Greece, on the Island of Cos, Turkey with its many ancient Greek and Roman ruins. When I became a Christian I was to learn that all this could be possibly considered only modern history.

Every thing that God creates He creates perfectly as this planet would have been when first created. I have listened to a number of teachings on the subject by different teachers who have a great knowledge of Hebrew and the way the word's used, the meaning of the same word or similar words when used with different applications in various verses in God's word.

I am by no means any form of a Hebrew scholar, but the Hebrew  text holds the key to understand what took place in the beginning and when that beginning may have been. I know that no one will ever know exactly when the earth was spoken into existence by God but I believe the Bible tells us when it was not created as we may have been taught or believe, six days before Adam was created. It is a subject that I have become very interested in, it seems I need projects like this to get me studying God's word. From the scriptures I have been shown it is very possible I now believe that this Planet, Earth our home may have been created millions if not billions of years ago. A statement that a lot of Christians may have difficulty swallowing, but I like to keep an open mind as I look into the Bible and seek to understand as much as I humanly can.

One statement I will make here is that I in no way support the so called, 'big bang theory of the evolutionists'. As far as I am concerned the big bang went bang when I became a Christian for two very sound reasons other than I know that God created all that we see, in the earth and the heavens. The first reason is that there had to be something to go bang, a mass of so called swirling gasses that some how created themselves and went bang bring into existence this earth with all that is on it, all the planets we see in the night sky, science now knows that the universe goes on for billions of light years, it is endless. The second is my own simple reasoning in that nothing begets nothing.

When satan brought about the fall of Adam in the garden Eden he himself was already in a fallen state. He was no longer Lucifer. Isa. 14:12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  Satan's fall must have taken place between verses one and two of Genesis as in Verse three of Genesis God begins the work of restoration. The Hebrew word 'hayah" is used, a word of permission.  "To exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass, to restore." and not as in Genesis I:I the word 'bara' is used, to create. Also in Genesis 2:8. 'Yatsar' to mould into a form; fashion, form or frame, mould into shape. Here it would appear that God's hands are at work moulding Adam into shape, like a master potter rather than speaking him into being.

Genesis. 1:1. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. KJV.

Genesis. 1:1. Ray-sheeth, Elohiym bara shamayim eth erets.

Strong's Translation.

Ray-sheeth.... The first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically, a firstfruit):--beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing. Other translators also give it to mean an unknown timeless past or a dateless past.

Elohiym.... The plural form of God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Sprit. John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

John. 1:14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Bara.... A primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes):-- choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).

Shamayim.... The plural form for heaven, the heavens.

Eth.... In the demonstrative sense of entity; properly, self (but generally used to
point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely):--(as such unrepresented in English).

Erets.... From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):-- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, nations, way, wilderness, world.

There is no old Hebrew comparison for the word 'In' that I have been able to find as with the word 'and' as used in our English version of the Bible. They would have been added by the translators at the time to separate words such as, shamayim from erets and such like words to make verses understandable to our english speaking minds.

Genesis. 1:2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis. 1:2. Erets hayah tohuw bohuw choshek paniym, t@howm Ruwach; Elohiym rachaph al  paniym mayim.

Strong's Translation.

Erets....From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):-- common, country, earth, field, ground, land, nations, way, wilderness, world.

Hayah....To exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a
mere copula or auxiliary):--beacon, altogether, be(-come), accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, have, last, pertain, quit (one-)self, require, use.

Tohuw....From an unused root meaning to lie waste; a desolation (of surface), i.e. desert; figuratively, a worthless thing; adverbially, in vain:--confusion, empty place, without
form, nothing, (thing of) naught, vain, vanity, waste, wilderness.

Bohuw....From an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, i.e. (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin:--emptiness, void.

Choshek....The dark; hence (literally) darkness; figuratively, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness:--dark(-ness), night, obscurity.

Paniym....plural (but always as singular) of an unused noun (paneh {paw-neh'}; the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.):--+ accept, a-(be- )fore(-time),
against, anger, X as (long as), at, + battle, + because (of), + beseech, countenance, edge, + employ, endure, + enquire, face, favour, fear of, for, forefront(-part), form(-er time, -ward), from, front, heaviness, X him(-self), + honourable, + impudent, + in, it, look(-eth) (- s), me, + meet, more than, mouth, of, off, (of) old (time), on, open, + out of, over against, the partial, person, + please, presence, prospect, was purposed, by reason of, + regard, right forth, + serve, X shewbread, sight, state, straight, + street, thee, them(-selves), through (+ - out), till, time(-s) past, (un-)to(-ward), + upon, upside (+ down), with(- in, + -stand), ye, you.

T@howm....Or thom {teh-home'}; (usually feminine) an abyss (as a surging mass of water), especially the deep (the main sea or the subterranean water-supply):--deep (place), depth.

Ruwach....Wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by
resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (including its expression and functions):--air, anger, blast, breath, X cool, courage, mind, X quarter, X side, spirit((-ual)), tempest,  vain, ((whirl-))wind(-y).

Elohiym....The plural form of God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Sprit.

Rachaph....A primitive root; to brood; by implication, to be relaxed:-- flutter, move, shake.

Al....Used as a preposition (in the singular or plural often with prefix, or as conjunction with
a particle following); above, over, upon, or against (yet always in this last relation with a downward aspect) in a great variety of applications (as follow):--above,
according to(-ly), after, (as) against, among, and, as, at, because of, beside (the rest of), between, beyond the time, both and, by (reason of), had the charge of, concerning for, in (that), (forth, out) of, (from) (off), (up-)on, over, than, through(-out), to, touching, with.

Paniym....plural (but always as singular) of an unused noun (paneh {paw-neh'}; the face (as the part that turns); used in a great variety of applications (literally and figuratively); also (with prepositional prefix) as a preposition (before, etc.):--+ accept, a-(be- )fore(-time),
against, anger, X as (long as), at, + battle, + because (of), + beseech, countenance, edge, + employ, endure, + enquire, face, favour, fear of, for, forefront(-part), form(-er time, -ward), from, front, heaviness, X him(-self), + honourable, + impudent, + in, it, look(-eth) (- s), me, + meet, more than, mouth, of, off, (of) old (time), on, open, + out of, over against, the partial, person, + please, presence, propect, was purposed, by reason of, + regard, right forth, + serve, X shewbread, sight, state, straight, + street, thee, them(-selves), through (+ - out), till, time(-s) past, (un-)to(-ward), + upon, upside (+ down), with(- in, + -stand), ye, you.

Mayim....Dual of a primitive noun (but used in a singular sense); water; figuratively, juice; by euphemism, urine, wasting, water(-ing, (-course, -flood, -spring)).

The early translators of the Bible could only have been lead by the Holy Spirit to have translated the old testament from ancient Hebrew when you look into the different meanings and applications that the words were used in. But what I see in Genesis I:2 is the description of a flooded desolation when look into the meanings of the Hebrew words used in this verse. But God, I know creates every thing perfectly, a garden of Eden perfection.

If I had not been shown Jeremiah. 4:23-27; Job. 9:4-9 and Job 38:30. I would not have given the second verse of Genesis any thought or even attempted this page, which is proving to be a bit of a mind stretcher.

Jeremiah. 4:23. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were
broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.
27. For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

Jeremiah. 4:23. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

Genesis. 1:2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

I would not consider myself a Bible or scriptural expert but a close look at these verses, the comparison to me at least seems to be very obvious. But it is the following verses of Jeremiah. 4. That seem to be contary to Genesis. 1: 3 - 25. There is one more verses I would add before continuing on from the book of Job.

Job 38:30. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

From what I see in these scriptures the Bible is talking about two different time frames. In Genesis 1:28. God after creating Adam and Eve, He told them to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. To replenish would mean to replace what at one time was already on the earth. A race of human beings. Pre Adamites.

Genesis. 1:28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Jeremiah. 4:23. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

When reading this verses, I had to ask what mountains and what hills? As Genesis 1:1; and Jeremiah. 4:23. State that earth was without form and void and in total darkness.

Jeremiah. 4:25. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

As with this verse. What man and what birds?

26. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were
broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

Here again; What fruitful place was turned into a wilderness, and what cities were brocken down at the presence of the Lord? What was it that brought about God's anger?

27. For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

In this verse God states that the whole Earth shall be left desolate, void, empty of hills, mountains, man, birds, of fruitful places or furtile lands and that the cities would be brocken down. A pictuer of total destruction a floded desolation. Genesis 1:2. It is like reading creation in reverse also being writen in past tense. "Yet will I not make a full end." God already had a plan of restoration. But what brought about God's anger?

Isaiah. 14:12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the
man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17. That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not
the house of his prisoners?

Lucifer was an Arch Angel who had a third of the angles under his dominion as it is with with Michael and Gabriel. He had a throne which was on this earth, as he said in verse 13.
"I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north." In verse 14 he states that he would ascend above the heights of the clouds, indecating that his throne was on this Planet at time.  He was given dominion over the Earth, it's inhabitance and most likely this sola system, he took the glory from the inhabitants that was ment to be give to God for himself. As he said. "I will be like the most High." He had access to and from heaven but through pride in his beauitful apperance or being, his positotion of diminion over the Earth and the peradamic race, he rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven to the earth which resulted in the total destruction of what was a perfect garden of Eden paradise. His name Lucifer which means bearer of light, he may have well been the source of live giving light to the planet at the time as the Sun and Moon were not created or may be restored untill Genesis. I:16.

Tyrus was a city or provence given over to idolitry. It is not the king of this city that the Bible is talking about in these verses but satan as will be revealed.

Ezekiel. 28:11. Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12. Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the
sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the
emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes
was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Lucifer as he was then known was in the Eden of God, not the Eden of Adam, the Eden Adam was given dominion over. Genesis 2:8.  "And the Lord God planted a garden
eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed." Genesis. 2:15. "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." It would be clear I trust that the Bible is talking about two diferent Eden's, one Lucifer's the other Adam's. Lucifer was also an incredible beautiful created being. Ezekiel. 28:13. "Every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold." I have trouble even trying to imagine what he must have looked like, half the jems he was covered in or should I say most, I have never seen. He was also a walking orchestra every time he opened his mouth the most beautiful praise music to God came out of him.
Ezekiel. 28:13. "The workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created."

14. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

"Thou art the anointed cherub." This is a very interesting statment; 'Anointed cherub.' The only anointed one that the Bible speaks of as I thought was Jesus. Anointed meaning the Christ. Lucifer was also anointed which put him directely under Jesus in the heavenly order, above Michael and Gabriel. I know this may sound off the planet, but it is written in God's word and can not be removed.

16. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by
reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of
thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Job. 9:4. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
5. Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them
in his anger.
6. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
7. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
8. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
9. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Job 38:29. Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath
gendered it?
30. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31. Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
